CORRALES, N.M. (KRQE) – Fall is in the air in Corrales this weekend for their annual harvest festival, which started in 1985 to celebrate all the village has to offer.

Hayrides were offered at the very first event, and over the years, that hasn’t changed.

Event-goers could take the rides to different vendors, farms, and restaurants throughout the village.

“This is kind of an open house for the whole Village of Corrales because it gives everybody that doesn’t live here the opportunity to recognize just how exciting and great this village is,” said festival Chairman Lane McIntyre.

The “Saturday Night Hoteenanny” also kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Corrales Rec Center Soccer Field.

The Harvest Festival continues on Sunday morning, including the inauguration of the new pet mayor at 8:30.
